We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, use our services, or communicate with us. This includes your name, email address, and any business information you enter into the platform such as client details, proposals, contracts, projects, and invoices.
We also collect information automatically when you use SakuDesk, including your IP address, browser type, device information, and usage data such as pages visited and actions taken within the application.
SakuDesk uses Supabase for authentication. When you sign up using your email and password, your credentials are securely managed by Supabase and are never stored in plaintext.
If you sign up using Google OAuth, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from the provider. We do not access or store your password when using third-party authentication.
SakuDesk uses essential cookies to maintain your session and keep you authenticated. These cookies are necessary for the core functionality of the application and cannot be disabled.
We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. Any analytics cookies used are strictly for understanding how the product is used so we can improve it.
We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how users interact with SakuDesk. This helps us identify which features are most used, where users encounter issues, and how to improve the product.
Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify individual users. We never sell or share analytics data with third parties.
Your data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Supabase infrastructure. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard TLS encryption.
Each workspace's data is logically isolated. We do not share data between workspaces or expose your business information to other users.
We take security seriously. SakuDesk uses row-level security policies at the database level to ensure users can only access data within their own workspace.
All communication between your browser and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS. Authentication tokens are managed securely and refreshed automatically.
While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
SakuDesk integrates with the following third-party services:

Paddle — Payment processing for Pro subscriptions. Paddle handles all billing information securely.
Cloudflare R2 — File storage for uploaded attachments. Files are encrypted at rest and accessible only via signed URLs.
Resend — Transactional email delivery for welcome, verification, and billing emails.
We do not share your business data (clients, proposals, contracts, invoices) with any third party.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. You can export or delete your workspace data directly from the application.
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@sakudesk.com and we will process your request within 30 days.
You may also request a copy of all data we hold about you. We will provide this in a machine-readable format within 30 days of your request.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently remove all associated business data within 30 days.
If you delete individual records (clients, projects, invoices, etc.), those records are permanently removed from the database immediately.
We may retain anonymized, aggregated data for analytics purposes after account deletion, but this data cannot be linked back to you.
